This life-size breast model is made of tissue-like, skin-realistic material and is ideal for tactile training and self-examination . Inside, there is a clearly palpable lump and simulated mastopathy to train the realistic perception of breast changes . The model is an effective tool for the early detection of breast cancer and is used for educational purposes in medical practices, clinics, schools, and as part of prevention campaigns.
The accompanying teaching card not only shows the exact position of the palpable changes in the model, but also contains a statistical overview of possible nodule distributions in the breast as well as a breast cancer classification for better orientation.
