The Vliwaktiv® Ag dressing from Lohmann & Rauscher is a modern activated charcoal absorbent dressing with antimicrobial properties thanks to silver. It combines excellent exudate absorption with the adsorption capacity of activated charcoal for germ and odor control. The breathable, skin-friendly non-woven cover ensures gentle wicking of wound fluid into the high-performance absorbent core, while an integrated protective layer reliably prevents exudate penetration. The silver content is effective against a broad spectrum of microorganisms.
