The simulated burns have been specially developed to allow instructors and medical professionals to simulate burn injuries and assess and care for patients with burns. The set includes four different degrees of burn severity: 1st degree, 2nd degree (superficial), 2nd degree (deep), and 3rd degree. These burns are flexible and can be easily cut into any shape to fit any area of a living patient or simulator. The set is ideal for using scales to determine the severity and type of burn and to create an appropriate treatment plan. The burns are reusable and come ready to use. For even more realistic simulations, theatrical makeup and fake blood can be used to enhance the wounds and create a more authentic appearance.
