Fresenius' Polytrol® sets are high-quality infusion systems designed for precise and safe gravity infusion . Equipped with a finely scalable flow regulator (5–250 ml/h), they allow for easy and precise adjustment of the infusion rate – ideal for diverse clinical requirements. The tubing is PVC-free , making the sets particularly gentle on patients and environmentally friendly.
Additional features include a micro-smooth puncture spike , integrated ventilation with a bacterial filter , a transparent drip chamber with an integrated fluid filter, and a Luer-Lock connector for secure connection. Some variants are also equipped with a needle-free access system , which reduces the risk of infection and simplifies the workflow.
