The Chlamydia cassette rapid test is a professional immunological swab test for the qualitative detection of Chlamydia trachomatis antigens. It enables fast and reliable diagnosis using cervical swabs in women and urethral swabs or urine samples in men, and is ideally suited for use in medical practices, clinics, and laboratories.
Chlamydia trachomatis are very small bacteria that preferentially colonize the mucous membranes of the eyes, respiratory tract, and especially the genital area.
