Vliwaktiv® from Lohmann & Rauscher is a sterile activated charcoal absorbent compress for the treatment of infected, exuding, and odorous wounds . It combines a non-stick absorbent compress with a wound dressing that absorbs bacteria and odors . The activated charcoal layer binds germs and unpleasant odors , while the skin-friendly nonwoven wrap effectively transports exudate to the absorbent core. An integrated fabric protector reliably prevents wound fluid from seeping out, providing additional safety in everyday use.
