The Silcoat balloon catheter is a latex-Foley long-term balloon catheter with a silicone outer coating, designed for medium-term urinary drainage. This catheter has a latex core coated both internally and externally with silicone elastomer to ensure high resistance to encrustation. Compared to conventional latex catheters, the Silcoat balloon catheter offers a significantly longer dwell time and is suitable for indwelling for up to 14 days. The catheter is equipped with a color-coded plastic valve for easy identification and handling. Furthermore, the catheter features well-rounded eyes and an easily inflatable balloon (3-5 ml / 5-15 ml) for comfortable and safe use. The Silcoat balloon catheter is available in sizes Ch. 8 to Ch. 26.
