The latest generation SOF tourniquet was developed for effective pre-hospital hemostasis in life-threatening extremity bleeding. Its design is based on systematic feedback from military, police, and emergency medical scenarios. The goal was improved handling combined with increased stability and durability.
The tourniquet features an optimized easy-pull function for quick application, especially for self-application under stressful conditions. The newly developed, approximately 4 cm wide compression band ensures even pressure distribution and supports reliable arterial occlusion. Robust, specially selected materials guarantee high resistance to mechanical stress, moisture, and temperature fluctuations.

An integrated visual indicator in the compression band shows when the band has been fully extended, thus supporting correct application. The redesigned buckle construction reduces the risk of gradual pressure loss during use.
The tourniquet is suitable for integration into IFAKs, emergency backpacks, tactical vests, or mobile first aid systems. It is a temporary, life-saving aid and is not intended for long-term medical care. CE marking is not required.
