This highly realistic training model enables practical training in bladder catheterization , bowel irrigation , washing , and examination in everyday urological and nursing practice. The combination of a natural cast of the external genitalia made of soft material and the robust plastic lower body allows for both anatomically accurate representation and high functionality. The urethra is designed so that the insertion of a catheter using standard clinical products can be practiced exactly as on a patient. Thanks to the integrated fluid reservoir, "urine" flows from the catheter after successful catheterization – for a particularly realistic learning experience. A bowel irrigation with fluid can also be performed.
