Opsite, Opsite Flexigrid, and Opsite Flexifix from Smith & Nephew are transparent polyurethane film wound dressings with an application aid. They create a virtually painless, ideally moist wound environment and reliably protect the wound from external influences. While Opsite and Opsite Flexigrid are sterile and used for direct wound coverage, Opsite Flexifix is non-sterile and used exclusively for fixation. The films are breathable, waterproof, and bacteria-proof. The grid structure of Opsite Flexigrid facilitates precise positioning and wound documentation. Thanks to their excellent skin compatibility and ease of use, these dressings are particularly user-friendly.
Areas of application:
Covering of superficial, low-exuding wounds such as cuts, abrasions, postoperative wounds, or split-thickness skin graft donor sites. Also ideal as a secondary dressing, for example, for gel applications. Opsite Flexifix is suitable for securing dressings and medical devices.

Opsite Flexigrid is particularly well-suited for regular visual inspection of the wound without the need to change the dressing. Its grid structure facilitates precise measurement of wound size. Opsite Flexifix can be individually cut to size and is ideal for the secure fixation of tubes, catheters, or secondary dressings.
