The Haemofusor® set from Fresenius was specially developed for the transfusion of blood and blood products . The vented, angled piercing spike was specifically designed for safe use with blood bags and ensures optimal flow performance. An integrated 200 µm blood filter in the transparent, cylindrical drip chamber reliably protects against particles and clots.
The clearly visible red marking on the drip chamber ring and vent flap allows for quick differentiation from standard infusion sets , reducing potential user errors. The set features a DEHP-free, frosted 180 cm tubing , a high-quality roller clamp with a parking space for the mandrel, and a standardized Luer-Lock connector .
