Zetuvit Plus Silicone Border from Hartmann is a silicone-coated superabsorbent wound dressing for the management of heavily exuding acute and chronic wounds. The integrated superabsorbent core reliably absorbs large amounts of exudate and binds it securely within the dressing. This supports a moist, healing-promoting wound environment and reduces the risk of maceration of the wound surroundings.
The soft silicone adhesive border ensures a secure hold on the skin without irritating the periwound area. During dressing changes, the silicone coating allows for atraumatic removal and protects sensitive skin. The transparent, breathable backing film is shower-proof and allows for continuous visual inspection of the surrounding skin.
The wound dressing is customizable and can be individually adapted to different wound shapes and sizes. It is suitable for pressure ulcers, leg ulcers of various etiologies, diabetic foot syndrome, as well as postoperative and traumatic wounds. Zetuvit Plus Silicone Border is particularly designed for patients with sensitive or at-risk periwound skin and supports efficient exudate management in hospitals, practices, and care settings.
