These redesigned cervical simulators offer a lifelike simulation of prenatal cervical examinations and were specifically developed to provide a realistic tactile examination experience. Through the use of new, exceptionally soft materials and a realistic feel, the simulators offer compelling visual and haptic training that supports the transition to examining patients.
The set consists of six separate blocks, each with an identical external shape and dimensions of 10 × 11 × 12 cm. The differences lie in the internal structure of the blocks, realistically replicating various cervical stages before birth. Each block represents a distinct cervical stage, with internal texture, tissue firmness, and anatomical size carefully reproduced to accurately depict conditions during childbirth.
The simulators cover a wide spectrum of cervical changes, from no dilation to a dilation of 9 cm, as well as effacing of the cervix. This makes the set suitable for comprehensive training in recognizing and assessing the stages of cervical dilation during labor.
The simulators feature a realistic replica of the cervical examination, six clearly defined cervical stages, a pronounced tactile training experience, and clear labeling of each stage on the back of the blocks. For safe presentation and storage, an acrylic stand and a storage case are included, ensuring clean storage and easy handling.
