This training model represents an end colostomy – the most common type of stoma. The model shows a segment of the intestine sutured above skin level in a simulated abdominal fold, thus realistically illustrating typical care conditions. The realistic shape and skin-like material enable authentic training in stoma care in educational settings.
The mold is made of a robust plastic compound to which standard stoma bags adhere securely. It is supplied in a stable holder but can be removed as needed and used flexibly in various training scenarios – ideal for teaching, demonstrations, and practical exercises.
