The SERVOspin Smart micro-hematocrit centrifuge is a compact, high-speed benchtop centrifuge for determining the hematocrit value in whole blood. It is specifically designed for microhematological applications and enables the quantitative determination of the cell volume fraction according to the reference method of DIN 58933-1.
With a maximum rotational speed of 12,000 rpm, the centrifuge achieves a relative centrifugal force (RCF) of up to 9,660 × g. This enables rapid and reproducible separation of plasma and cellular components. The device is suitable for use in clinical laboratories, medical practices, diagnostic facilities, and research environments.
The quiet motor ensures smooth operation. The electronically monitored lid features a safety lock and an automatic emergency brake function, guaranteeing safe operation. Operation is via a clearly laid-out control panel and is designed for ease of use.
Included in the delivery are a 12-fold hematocrit rotor, a dispenser tube with 100 capillaries, a plate with sealing wax, and two interchangeable rotors for mini-centrifuge tubes. Detailed operating instructions support proper setup and use.
