The Primedic HeartSave AS is a fully automated external defibrillator (AED) that stands out from the HeartSave AED due to its fully automated operation . When the HeartSave AS detects a heart rhythm requiring defibrillation , it delivers the shock independently and automatically . This ensures that even unconfident users receive the necessary energy for defibrillation quickly and reliably, without the need for manual intervention. Once the device lid is opened , no further operation is required, ensuring quick and uncomplicated use.
The device is equipped with a variety of practical features, including a pediatric mode that is activated at the touch of a button without the need for special pediatric electrodes . With a battery life of up to 6 years and a 3-year electrode lifespan, the HeartSave AS offers reliable and long-lasting performance . Additionally, the AED stores all mission data on a removable CF card to ensure documentation of events and measured values.
