Hypafix® skin sensitive is a skin-friendly nonwoven fabric with silicone adhesive, specially developed for the needs of sensitive and fragile skin. It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings and for the additional fixation of medical devices. Its gentle adhesion allows for safe yet gentle application – even on particularly sensitive skin, such as that found in the elderly, small children, or skin damaged by medications and diseases such as diabetes.
Thanks to the breathable and water-repellent material, the risk of maceration is reduced and the healing process is supported. The fixation fleece can be removed atraumatically without causing pain or leaving skin damage and can be repositioned as needed without losing its adhesive strength.
