This advanced gynecological simulator, developed by physicians for physicians and medical professionals, combines hands-on training in gynecological examinations with the application of laparoscopic procedures and mini-laparotomy. The life-size female lower body is equipped with all relevant anatomical structures, allowing for practice of bimanual examination, palpation of a normal and a pregnant uterus, and vaginal examination, including the use of a speculum. Furthermore, the model supports visual assessment of the cervix, uterine probing, and the insertion and removal of an intrauterine device (IUD).
Additionally, various contraceptives such as diaphragms, vaginal condoms, and pessaries can be inserted and removed. The integrated capability for laparoscopic visualization and occlusion of the fallopian tubes, as well as for performing a mini-laparotomy, significantly expands the range of applications and makes the simulator a comprehensive training system for gynecological examination techniques, surgical procedures, and emergency situations.
The simulator is suitable for the medical training of medical students, midwives, and gynecological professionals, as well as for simulation centers offering structured training in gynecological diagnostics, contraception, and laparoscopic surgery. The model can also be used in emergency medicine and surgical training for practicing specific gynecological procedures.
The modular system includes interchangeable uterine and cervical components, including an anteverted and a retroverted uterus, a uterus at 10 weeks of gestation, and five cervixes with a patented cervical os for IUD use. Anatomically realistic ovaries and fimbriae allow for detailed examination. Patented screw mechanisms enable quick module changes. The system supports laparoscopic visualization, tubal occlusion, and mini-laparotomy and is supplied as a complete set with talcum powder, lubricant, and a carrying case for safe use and storage.
