The CPR Prompt Plus training manikin from Heartisense Solutions is designed for structured training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the Heimlich maneuver, and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Through the integration of apps and a sensor kit, students and instructors receive immediate, real-time feedback, allowing for direct assessment and correction of the procedures performed. The accompanying student and instructor apps feature a realistic user interface and support a transparent and controlled learning environment. The manikin is designed to realistically depict anatomical landmarks such as the Adam's apple, carotid arteries, navel, rib cage, and sternal notch, serving as a guide for correct hand placement during pulse checks and chest compressions. Proper head extension is required to open the airway, thus training correct ventilation technique. When ventilations are performed correctly, the chest rises visibly, providing visual confirmation of execution. The modular design allows for practicing Heimlich maneuvers, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation within a single training system. The recorded training data can be digitally stored on a smartphone or tablet and used for documentation and evaluation of training progress.
