The CLEARTEST Tuberculosis Immunoassay Rapid Test is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic test for the detection of antibodies against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This immunochromatographic test detects both IgG and IgM antibodies and supports a differentiated diagnostic assessment in a clinical setting.
By detecting both antibody classes simultaneously, the test can provide indications of past exposure or a possible active infection. The result can be visually evaluated within approximately ten minutes. Only a small sample volume is required for the test; no additional equipment is needed, thus facilitating its use in the patient's immediate environment.
