Algoplaque is a self-adhesive, flexible, and conformable hydrocolloid wound dressing with a semi-occlusive polyurethane backing. The dressing is waterproof and bacteria-proof, enabling safe and hygienic wound care. Algoplaque is primarily used for chronic wounds in the granulation phase when the wound environment is healthy. The dressing supports healing by maintaining a moist environment while protecting the wound from external influences. Special versions are also available, such as Algoplaque Sacrum with a flattened adhesive edge for the sacral area, and Algoplaque Border with a flattened adhesive edge for problem areas. The size is 14 x 16 cm
