Hypergel is a highly concentrated, hypertonic saline gel with 20% sodium chloride (NaCl) specifically designed for the gentle dissolution of dry necrosis (autolytic debridement) . Through its osmotic effect, the gel draws fluid from the necrotic tissue, softening dead tissue and allowing it to be more easily broken down by the body.
It is specifically designed for dry or fibrin-covered wounds, especially chronic wounds such as ulcers, pressure ulcers, or diabetic lesions. Hypergel is easy to apply, highly effective, and cost-effective , making it ideal for use in both clinical and home settings.
