The Sarstedt forensic swab was specially developed for the safe and contamination-free collection of forensic samples. It features a round cotton swab head and a wooden rod. It is packaged in a transparent polypropylene (PP) tube with an integrated venting membrane for passive drying of the sample material. A paper label for sample identification is pre-applied. The swab is ETO-treated, gas-sterilized, and complies with the international standard ISO 18385 , which is specifically tailored to the requirements of forensic trace evidence analysis. The aluminum-free blister packaging ensures that the product is completely free of metal contamination.
