This anatomically realistic plastic stomach model was developed for training in endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). It replicates the structure of the human stomach in detail and offers training conditions that closely resemble the clinical procedure. The transition zone between the esophagus and stomach is made of flexible material, allowing for the insertion and guidance of an endoscope with natural resistance. For the actual dissection, a dissected pig stomach can be inserted into the model, enabling realistic practice of instrument handling and cutting techniques.
