The CLEARTEST Tuberculosis Immunoassay Rapid Test is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic test for the detection of antibodies against Mycobacterium tuberculosis . The immunochromatographic test detects both IgG and IgM antibodies and supports a differentiated diagnostic assessment in a clinical context.
By detecting both antibody classes simultaneously, the test can provide indications of past exposure or a possible active infection. The test result can be visually evaluated within approximately ten minutes. The test requires only a small sample and can be performed without additional equipment.
