The Sarstedt Forensic Swab is specially designed for the collection of forensic samples that can be used in court . The sterile packaging in a tube with a vented membrane and an integrated security label guarantee maximum safety and traceability during sample collection. The round viscose swab head allows for gentle and effective sample collection, while the 125 mm long polystyrene rod ensures precise handling.
The product complies with the ISO 18385 standard, which regulates the requirements for forensic consumables to prevent DNA contamination. It is ETO gas sterilized and comes with passive drying —ideal for professional use in forensic, criminological, or analytical laboratories.
