Porelast® from Lohmann & Rauscher is a longitudinally elastic adhesive bandage with a wide range of uses in phlebology, sports medicine, and traumatology . It provides functional stabilization without significantly restricting natural movement. Thanks to its air- and water vapor-permeable fabric, it offers excellent ventilation – even when applied in multiple layers.
Porelast is ideal as a permanent compression bandage , providing support for injuries such as contusions, sprains, and dislocations, or for correcting (redressing) misalignments – for example, in the foot area. The bandage is made of 100% cotton and has a porous coating with a synthetic rubber adhesive containing zinc oxide . It is supplied loose in a carton .
