The SWAT-T tourniquet (stretch, wrap, and tuck tourniquet) offers a particularly simple, virtually painless, and reliable method for controlling bleeding in severe extremity injuries. Thanks to its extra- wide band, pressure is distributed over a large area, reducing pain and the risk of further damage. Application is self-explanatory , as the instructions are printed directly on the material. With no mechanical parts, it is fast, robust, and safe , even in potentially explosive (ATEX) environments. Its compact size, light weight, and low price make it ideal for individual emergency kits – for example, in mass casualty incidents, emergency medical services, or technical rescue operations. Furthermore, the SWAT-T can be used in a variety of ways, such as a pressure bandage, immobilization aid, or splint.
