The BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ blood collection set is a proven safety blood collection system for venous blood collection and short-term infusions of up to two hours. It reliably protects against needlestick injuries thanks to an integrated safety mechanism in which the protective shield is pushed over the needle after puncture . An audible click signals the irreversible engagement of the shield over the needle tip. Thanks to the one-handed activation option, attention can remain fully focused on the patient and the puncture site. The elastic wings ensure safe and comfortable handling.
