
BD Vacutainer® EST™ tubes are additive-free vacuum tubes primarily used as secondary containers for anticoagulated blood samples , such as for collecting plasma samples from blood bags. They also serve as discard tubes to prevent contamination or dilution during blood collection. These tubes contain no additives and are not suitable for collecting high-quality serum . Made of durable PET plastic, they feature a Hemogard™ safety seal and a clear stopper for quick visual identification.
