This high-quality training model represents a pregnant woman in her 36th week of pregnancy (anatomically based on a Japanese woman) and was specifically designed for practicing external cephalic version (manual cephalic version in breech presentation) . The realistic abdominal wall, made of soft, skin-like silicone, offers an authentic tactile experience. The amniotic sac can be filled with glycerin to simulate amniotic fluid – the amount is adjustable , allowing for the simulation of different scenarios (e.g., high or low amniotic fluid levels).
Inside is a detailed, molded fetus with a palpable head, spine, arms and legs made of firmer material – ideal for precise position assessment by palpation .
