This simulation collar allows for realistic practice of tracheostomy care and tracheal suctioning directly on a person or a training mannequin. It can be easily applied to both actors and mannequins and is suitable for practical training in nursing and medical education. The integrated trachea can be filled with artificial mucus, enabling the simulation of typical care situations and suctioning procedures under realistic conditions.
After training, the trachea can be easily rinsed and cleaned, making the simulation collar suitable for repeated practice sessions. A flexible Velcro closure ensures a universal fit and allows adjustment to different neck circumferences. The collar is used in nursing education, medical training, first aid and emergency training, and supports the safe learning of tracheostomy care and correct suction techniques in a controlled environment.
