This straight reducer from BRAND GMBH + CO KG enables an absolutely reliable and tight connection of laboratory tubing with different inner diameters. Thanks to the precise transition from 3–5 mm to 6–10 mm, flexible tubing can be adapted in medical, chemical or pharmaceutical laboratory environments in no time and without flow losses.
The tubing connector is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP). This material is characterized by its excellent chemical resistance to many acids, alkalis and solvents. In addition, the solid material properties ensure high mechanical resilience and durability in daily laboratory use, even under demanding working conditions.
With an overall length of 55 mm, the reducer offers an optimal balance of compact design and sufficiently long connection surface for secure tubing retention. Thanks to the straight design, a linear media flow is ensured, which minimizes turbulence and increases the efficiency of your experimental or dosing setups.
