The vascular access arm rig is a training and simulation product for depicting scenarios in basic and advanced training. It is intended solely for practice purposes and is not designed for use on real patients.
The arm holder is used in combination with a Simulated RealFlow Tissue Pad and is designed to demonstrate the handling of needles and materials in training situations. The system is designed so that training scenarios can be performed independently of real patient care. The materials used allow for repeated use within training and educational environments.
The arm holder is made of a puncture-resistant material that acts as a mechanical barrier between the training needle and the wearer. It is attached via an integrated hook-and-loop fastener system, which secures the arm holder to the simulated tissue pad. The design allows for mounting on training mannequins as well as stationary or mobile training models to simulate various training scenarios.
The system is intended for use in medical training facilities, education centers, and simulation training. It supports the structured execution of training sessions on the handling of instruments and materials within simulated vascular access scenarios. Use outside of training and educational purposes is not intended.
The scope of delivery includes an arm mount, an attachable simulated tissue pad, artificial blood powder, and an infusion bag with a capacity of 1,000 ml. The components are designed for repeated use in training environments and are intended solely for simulation.
