The DCT Double Contrast Bowel Tube Safety is designed for the safe and effective performance of double-contrast examinations in bowel diagnostics. It combines flexibility and user-friendliness in a single system with one central and two lateral openings for controlled contrast agent administration. The flat latex balloon with internal air supply enables controlled application. A white foam plate between the anus and sphincter supports precise positioning and a secure seal during the examination.
The safety concept is enhanced by a 60 ml bladder syringe, which prevents overinflation of the balloon. A maximum of 60–80 ml of air is used for balloon inflation. The blue-coded air line and the funnel connector ensure the secure connection of the catheter syringe.
