The CRiSis pediatric mannequin is a realistic training mannequin specifically designed for teaching life-saving measures in children. It simulates a five-year-old child and enables comprehensive training in pediatric advanced life support (PALS). The model supports practical training in pediatric emergency care and promotes a nuanced understanding of the specific requirements when treating pediatric patients.
The training mannequin is equipped with several functional modules, including a pediatric airway management trainer, an intravenous arm, a blood pressure arm, a chest defibrillation skin, a leg for intraosseous infusion and femoral access, and a fully functional CPR unit. This allows for realistic and integrated practice of key pediatric emergency medical procedures. The CRiSis pediatric mannequin is suitable for training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, paramedic and emergency medical technician training, as well as for advanced emergency medical training at various qualification levels.
The mannequin is used in pediatric emergency and intensive care medicine for training physicians, nurses, and paramedics. It is suitable for medical training within PALS courses and other pediatric emergency training programs, as well as for use in simulation centers that offer comprehensive training in the care of pediatric emergency patients.
The CRiSis pediatric manikin offers a realistic simulation of a five-year-old child and enables versatile training opportunities in airway management, intravenous and intraosseous access, blood pressure measurement, defibrillation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Its modular components allow for structured and practical training in pediatric resuscitation. With a height of 119 cm and a weight of approximately 9 kg, the manikin has realistic proportions and is suitable for use in training and simulation.
