The Cederroth eyewash station is a wall-mounted first-aid unit for the immediate rinsing of eyes upon contact with acids, alkalis, or foreign bodies. It is designed for work areas with an increased risk of chemical exposure and supports rapid first aid in emergencies.
The station contains two sterile, buffered 500 ml bottles of eyewash solution. The special buffer solution is designed to stabilize the eye's pH as quickly as possible after contact with alkaline or acidic substances. This is particularly important with alkalis, as these can penetrate deep into the tissue. The bottles open automatically when removed from the wall mount, allowing for immediate rinsing without any additional steps. Each bottle provides approximately 1.5 minutes of rinsing time. The eyewash solutions have a shelf life of up to 4.5 years.
Additionally, a Salvequick plaster dispenser is integrated, allowing for hygienic dispensing of plasters from the underside. The refill inserts are locked in place to ensure controlled dispensing. The station also offers storage space for supplementary products, enabling customization to specific operational requirements.
The Cederroth eyewash station is suitable for industry, trade, laboratory areas, construction sites and other work environments with potential risk to the eyes from chemical substances or particles.
