The BRAUN BNT300WE forehead thermometer is a non-contact infrared thermometer with a dual measurement function for fast and precise temperature readings. The technology used detects a greater amount of radiated body heat than conventional forehead thermometers and enables a measurement within approximately two seconds.
The device features a "No Touch" mode for contactless measurement, for example, on sleeping children, as well as a "Touch" mode for direct measurement on the forehead. An integrated proximity sensor helps maintain the correct measuring distance of up to 5 cm and increases user safety.
The color-coded fever indicator makes it easier to interpret the measurement results. Green signals a normal temperature, yellow an elevated temperature, and red indicates a fever. The backlit LCD display ensures good readability even in poor lighting conditions. Additionally, a "No Sound" mode allows for silent operation.
The thermometer features an automatic shut-off function that activates approximately 60 seconds after the last measurement. A protective cap and two AA batteries are included.
