We are an internationally active, rapidly growing e-commerce company in the healthcare sector, headquartered in Bochum. We sell our products through several digital sales channels – including our own webshop as well as various national and international marketplaces. To further expand our business, we are looking for a strategically minded and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who identifies new business potential, builds strategic partnerships and significantly drives our sustainable growth.
As a Business Development Manager, you will identify and develop new growth areas for our company. You analyze markets, assess opportunities and risks, build strategic partnerships, and contribute directly to revenue and margin development. You work closely with management and actively shape our long-term expansion strategy.

Your tasks:
Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, markets and expansion potential (national & international).
Development and implementation of strategic growth initiatives in line with the company strategy.
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and strategic partners.
Negotiation of commercial terms and support for the onboarding of new brands and product portfolios.
Identifying potential areas for expanding our product portfolio, including new categories or private label approaches.
Analysis of market and sales data to specifically increase revenue and profitability.
Close collaboration with e-commerce, marketing, purchasing and logistics for the successful implementation of growth projects.
Creation of business cases, forecasts and strategic decision-making templates for management.
Your profile:
Completed studies in the field of business administration, economics, management or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in business development, in a commercial setting
Strategic position or in a comparable growth-oriented roleStrong strategic and analytical thinking skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality
Excellent communication skills
German at native speaker level and fluent English.
Confident use of MS Office
