The Dermojet HR is a needle-free pressure injector developed for the subcutaneous administration of medication. A mechanical system delivers a precisely dosed amount of 0.1 ml (±5%) under high pressure ( 100 bar ) through a micro-fine opening beneath the skin—all without the need for a needle. The device creates a wheal, indicating even distribution of the active ingredients. The Pyrex glass reservoir holds up to 4 ml of fluid, which is equivalent to approximately 40 injections . The Dermojet is ideal for local anesthesia or vaccinations, especially for patients with needle phobia.
The HR version was specially designed for modern Type B sterilizers and features a stainless steel ring for fixation . The device is completely disassemblable and autoclavable , but can also be sterilized by boiling.
