Exufiber from Mölnlycke is an innovative, gel-forming fiber dressing that uses Hydrolock® technology to promote effective wound healing. Made from highly absorbent polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers , Exufiber transforms into a soft, shape-stable gel upon contact with wound exudate. This gel promotes a moist wound environment, reduces the risk of adhesions, and facilitates atraumatic dressing changes. Thanks to its high absorption and retention capacity , Exufiber is particularly suitable for exuding wounds and is available as both a compress and a tamponade – both packaged sterile .
